Soham Grammarians - Mr Beal, Woodwork/Metalwork 1945-47

Soham Grammarian Autumn 1947

The task that follows is not such an agreeable one. Mr. Beal is leaving at the end of this term after two years with us. He will be missed by many of us, especially the aeroplane modellists and the model railway enthusiasts, whose clubs he founded and assisted, and also the blacksmiths of the School, for it was Mr. Beal who constructed the Smithy adjoining the workshop buildings. Our loss, however, is someone else's gain and on behalf of the whole school we would like to wish him and Mrs. Beal every happiness and success in their new home at Camborne in Cornwall.
