Another outstanding event this term has been the appointment of a lady to the Staff, the first for many years. In cordially welcoming Miss Franklin, who has come to take over Mr. Lait's Mathematics, we hope she will be very happy with us.

We also say goodbye to Miss Franklin with much regret. She came to us a year ago to take Mr Lait's Mathematics temporarily, and we thank her for her work with us and wish her every happiness in her new post.

We were very sorry to lose the services of Miss DI Franklin in December. The School presented her with a handbag at the end of last term as a small token of our appreciation and esteem. We heartily hope she is happy in her new post at Thornbury, Glos.
