Soham Grammarians - 1946 Isle of Ely Admission letter

Ken Howard has provided the letter dated 15 July 1946 from the County Council of the Isle of Ely Education Committee to his parents informing them "You will be interested to hear that in the the recent Entrance Examination, the above named child has qualified for admission to the above named School at the commencement of the Autumn Term, 1946, that is, in September next."

Later it says "At a Secondary Grammar School the course is planned for five years, that is from the age of 11 to the age of 16, so that unless you can see your way to keep him at the Secondary Grammar School to complete this course, you should not send him." A reply had to be received on or before 22nd July 1946.
