This year we welcomed two SGs who had not been since at least 2002.
Three former SGS staff were present: Mr Dick Bozeat, Mr Peter Scott and Mr Alan Mason.
Our MC this year was John Dimmock 59 who is also our Box Office manager. John's wife Sue and daughter Emma assisted with the drinks.

Then came the ‘Roll Call’ – when each stood in turn, using the microphone, to tell us their name/SGS years/where they lived ‘then & now’.
Welcome to Guests by the MC: John Dimmock 59. John was standing in for our usual MC, Chris Bent 53, who we were pleased was present following his recent heart surgery.
John welcomed the non-SGS guests, present. Our numbers were up on last year. He particularly welcomed fellow SG59er Stu Porter, formerly of Littleport and now in Pennsylvania, USA, and that redoubtable globetrotter Mike Barningham SG60, who had dropped in on his way to Mexico from Nigeria!
John later presented bouquets to Dr Carin Taylor, Mrs Ann Jarman and to Sara Coutts who was in charge of the excellent catering for our lunch. As customary, he also presented the cash from the silver bowl that had been passed round, to a representative from the very smartly turned out SVC senior pupils team that so capably served us.
Welcome to Soham Village College: Dr Carin Taylor, the Principal - who has attended all our events during her tenure - reminded us that the SVC family now includes two primary schools. She stressed the important role we have in the heritage of SVC.
Toast to Absent Friends: Peter Nicholls SG39. Those known to have died since our last Lunch were: Albert Edwin Peacock SG30?, Lewis Heavens SG44, Ronnie (Ronald James) Southgate SG45, Cedric Fretwell SG48, Barry Jelleyman SG49, John Gammon SG63, Bernard Anderson SG65, Robert Medlock SG68.
