RAT and the flood working party: "there was a small working party of first year 6th formers of which I was one" [writes Rob Hinze] "who were either Science 6th (there were only 6 of us) or possibly the 1st XI cricket team which did not include me but David Crowe (52) was, or boarders of which I was one, as was David Crowe." Neil Holmes (1952): Left of picture, nearest camera, with his trade-mark peaked cap, is George Phelps. Next in line, with fag in mouth, is Freddie Hobbs. Boy standing in back-ground looks more like Kiernan. David Crowe was certainly not a 1st Eleven Cricketer.
