General School Regulations - continued.
Notice of Withdrawal.
At least half a term's notice in writing of the intention to remove a boy from the School must be given to the Head Master, IN DEFAULT OF WHICH A TERM'S FEE MUST BE PAID. It is requested that if possible a full term's notice be given. Homework.
Homework is set each evening and varies from one hour to two hours according to the boy's form. At the beginning of the School year each boy receives a Homework Time Table on which is stated the amount of time which should normally be spent on a subject. If parents find that their sons have more work than they can do within the scheduled time they are requested to inform the Head Master by letter or interview. A verbal excuse from the boy cannot be accepted.
Health Certificate.
No boy may return to School at the beginning of term unless he brings with him a certificate signed by his parent or guardian, stating that he has not had, or been in contact with, any infectious disease during the holidays. If the boy has had, or been in contact with, any infectious disease during that time the parent should write to the Head Master giving particulars and the boy should, in this case, present the Head Master's written permission to return in place of the usual certificate.
If during the term any infection should break out in the house from which the pupil is attending School, the Head Master is to be informed of it immediately, and the boy should not attend until the Head Master has given his permission.
